The Synnax Console

Install and use the Synnax Console.

The Synnax Console is a desktop application for visualizing data, controlling hardware, and managing a Synnax Core. It runs on Windows 11 and macOS Sequoia or later.

Install

Install the Console by downloading the latest release for your operating system:

Releases for other operating systems and older versions can be found on the releases page.

After downloading and installing the Console, you’ll see the following splash screen:

Connecting a Core

Connect to a Core by clicking the Add a Core button and entering your connection parameters.

Parameter	Description
Host	The hostname or IP address of the Core.
Port	The port number of the Core.
Secure	Whether to use TLS when connecting to the Core. This parameter only works with secure Cores.
Username	The username to use when connecting to the Core.
Password	The password to use when connecting to the Core.

Graphics

The Console is GPU-intensive: high-frequency plotting and dense schematics need a dedicated graphics card for smooth performance.

Integrated graphics (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Vega) work, but performance drops with multiple high-frequency streams, long time ranges, or complex schematics.

Display

Use a display of at least 1920x1080. A 4K display is preferred for extended use.
